LAWRENCE SZYCHER    

The artist is an  MFA from the Univ. of Maryland. Szycher also studied painting with Samuel Brecher ( a Charles Hawthorne student) in NYC, and Herman Maril in Maryland and Provincetown, MA. He has exhibited his work at many public institutions and galleries, including the National Academy of Design and the National Arts Club in NYC, Bergen County Museum in NJ, Delaware Museum of Art, New Britain (CT) Museum of American Art, the Emily Lowe Art Museum in FL, Provincetown (MA) Museum of Art, University of Maryland, and the University of Pennsylvania. His work is in many private and public collections in the northeast.

Mr. Szycher’s work is represented by the Delaware Art Museum Gallery and Lending Service and the Kendall Art Gallery in Wellfleet, MA.  He is currently an Associate Professor of Art at Caldwell College in NJ, where he also chairs the Fine Art Department.
