CHRISTINA KEATING

Keating's images transport the viewer into her world of color and optimism.  Her Neo-Impressionist interior scenes and paintings of places she has visited are characterized by vigorous brushstrokes, energetic line, and a vibrant palette. While suggesting spaces full of possibilities, her goal to express tender feelings about home and nature explains her tendency to return again and again to subjects such as lush landscapes or inviting interiors.   Keating lives outside of Boston and has shown in galleries throughout the U.S.  She attended the Arts Student League and Parsons School of Design.
