MARTIN BOYLE
Boyle is an
accomplished painter who is known for his trompe l’oeil, or “fool the
eye,” technique. His canvases are specially shaped and become a
convincing window into another place. Boyle holds degrees from the Yale
School of Art and the Cleveland Institute of Art. His works are in
various public and private collections including the Brooklyn Museum of
Art, Fidelity Investments, Boston, and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
Recent shows have included Arden Gallery, Boston, and Case Western
Reserve University, Cleveland, where he teaches Design and Color
