MARTIN BOYLE

Boyle is an accomplished painter who is known for his trompe l’oeil, or “fool the eye,” technique.  His canvases are specially shaped and become a convincing window into another place. Boyle holds degrees from the Yale School of Art and the Cleveland Institute of Art.  His works are in various public and private collections including the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Fidelity Investments, Boston, and the Cleveland Museum of Art.   Recent shows have included Arden Gallery,  Boston, and Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, where he teaches Design and Color
Theory.
